EWPBF Executive Director Position Description

General Summary:

Directs and implements all aspects of the day-to-day operations of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation, Inc. As the organization's single full-time employee, the position also provides administrative support to the officers, board of directors and committee chairs. Responsibilities include member recruitment, fund/donor development, written and verbal communications, event planning/coordination, website and social media management, administration of the membership/donor database, and volunteer management.

Major Functions:

Directs and promotes the organization and mission within the community.
Leads the successful implementation of policies, goals and objectives adopted by the Board of Directors.
With the President, enables the Board of Directors to fulfill its governance responsibilities.
Provides direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives
Develops and implements approved plan for the growth and maintenance of the Foundation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Board Administration and Support: Supports operations and administration of Board as advisor to the officers and directors.
- Serves as an advisory member to the Board of Directors and on any committees of the agency.
- Maintains board-related communications.
Develops and implements plans for the recruitment and retention of qualified members. Coordinates plans with the membership committee.
Promotes the benefits of EWPBF in the community. (Is the "face" of the organization)
Expands opportunities for fund development to support the mission.
Program, Product and Service Delivery: Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery of quality programs, products and services.
Plans, and implements comprehensive agency programs as specified.

Excellent work standards, dependable and reliable

Very organized, can work in a multi-tasking environment, a self-starter
Friendly and professional manner, courteous at all times with the membership, donors and the public
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher), Constant Contact, website content management and social media
Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping and budgets, knowledge of Quick Books a plus
Ability to produce charts, graphs and other metrics, includes understanding of analytics
Flexible and adaptable, able to prioritize tasks to ensure completion of duties within deadlines

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of director and management experience.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
